We’ve had snow, wind, rain and cold; thankfully January is on its way out. I’m looking forward to spring when we start seeing all the lovely bulbs popping up that Garforth in Bloom have planted; if you want to help or sponsor such a wonderful group, click on their contact details on here under, Local Activities and you too can help towards Garforth looking beautiful.
6 new people jumped on board this week, adding details as we speak. We’ve had 3,540 people to the website and 2 people advertising already - all monies go to, Globe – Not for Profit
The Viral video is shaping up; you can be part of it. If you want to be in the viral video, contact me at Christine@themaindeal.co.uk to find out more, it will take a week or two before it goes live – It should be fun
It looks good for the Old Libby’s building, contracts soon to be signed and it will be back up and running as something great again. #notapub
A great first meeting went ahead with The Traders Group and the money raised from the Fiveraffle held back in November is being spent on Brackets for each shop so Flags, Bunting and Christmas trees and lights can be put up and give Main Street a great atmosphere at event and seasonal times
Until next week.............
My name is Christine Thom, I came to live in Garforth nearly 22 years ago; you may have seen me around ?
