Visit one of our shops or get one of great mobile hairdressers or makeup artists coming to your door, it’s all here in Garforth and they too use all the trendy branded makeup they use in town, but you will pay a lot less and probably look nicer #myopinion

Two of our local bands are playing some great gigs over the weekend.

His holiday term, don’t forget our local businesses, they really see a decline in business when the children are off on holiday, so for those of you sticking around locally, please think of our businesses, give them some of your time too. Every business whether it’s a local furniture shop or exercise class.
Great to hear some of the schools are getting involved in the Pom Pom making for the Garforth Arts Festival and Main Street.

St Gemma’s new Charity shop opened yesterday; I popped in, lots of clothes, and a few wicker chairs, but not too many other options on the furniture front, let’s hope over time, more will arrive.
Their old shop, no 45 is now a second bridal shop, they have had a kind donations from Austin Reed on men’s jackets – worth a look
I’m looking forward to my new jingle coming out this week; I may hold off until I reach 20,000 hits to the website and 800 likes to the Facebook page before I put it out there… Our jingle has been created my Tim Manion of Daydreamer who also created the music for our viral advert. Our jingle will also be used for Garforth Hour which is held every Tuesday evening from – on Twitter. This hour is really helping out local businesses, be seen and be heard and it’s making great connections for lots of people, especially Garforth in Bloom.
