Prince Harry left the Royal Family, Prince Andrew needs to stop pretending, about a lot of things! The UK had months of bad weather causing damage and flooding to businesses and homes, poor Caroline Flack took her own life, Kobe Bryant and his daughter were killed. Along came Covid-19 and nearly wiped people out of toilet roll, pasta and flour and we were forced to stay in our homes with our immediate family, or on our own. We witnessed Satellites zooming across the sky and we found Zoom could help us in so many ways, we clapped outside of our homes for the love and respect of amazing people doing amazing jobs, Summer happened in April and May and we had the hottest spring on record, was it anything to do with us changing the climate for the short period of time? We got to see a rocket take off and arrive safely at the ISS and we watched a man being killed in a horrific way which caused many people across the world to look at what matters. They’ve re-opened the Madeline McCann case and someone is looking to be arrested for her murder, a terrorist attack recently took place killing 3 innocent people in Reading, and as I type, there is an incident in Glasgow were 3 more people have been killed and we’re not through the year. This has to be the worst year in history, right? I’m sure there will be a film written, and you can imagine all the footage being used when our cities were sleeping. Here’s to New Years Eve.
This Hump day Vlog has been about the newly released information from Bojo this week and how he has given the keys back to the pubs to re-open on the 4th July so people can drink, get drunk and hug, but not the gyms where people can socially distance, be there for about an hour and leave feeling better, and in an orderly fashion without having to touch anyone…. ! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a misery guts, I just don’t understand some of the reasoning behind some of his decisions he makes…., Oh yes I do, Brewery companies will have been screaming at the government to open and then when they do, the government will be all forgiven because people can have a drink… ok, I am a cynic! Talking about being a cynic, I invented a new swear word yesterday, starting with the letter B = Bournemouth! At the beginning of lockdown, we were seeing such kindness, beautiful signs of humanity at it’s best, the helping and giving to others was quite overwhelming and everyone clapped for the wonderful people in the NHS and our emergency services and neighbours saying hello to each other for some, the first time in years! and then Bojo says, ‘we put it in the hands of you, the people‘. hahaha, I’m sorry, which people? Are these the ones who are not listening or caring? Are these the people who turn up to a packed beach, after following a huge line of traffic to get there, and realising there’s nowhere to park, step onto the sand and say, ‘shall we find a spot?’ It’s a worrying thing for this next generation growing up, what kind of people are they growing up with? I’m a kind person, but even this is raising my scouse blood to boiling point! If peoples actions of selfishness stop people who have been shielding into an extension beyond August, I hope your trip was worth it! Mentioning the scouse word, I heard Liverpool were successful in something last night? Yeah, I know, the only plazzy scouser who knows nothing about football!
Anyway, rant over… The weather has been, ‘scorchio’ if almost too hot, especially in the evenings when you’re all swapping fans, beds, heat and annoyances at 1.00 am, even the dog was fed up, finding solace on the bathroom floor… I should have joined him.
