It’s more than great coffee here in Cielo, and in case you didn’t know and you would be surprised who doesn’t
Cielo (CEE-EL-O) was born a few years ago, born out of heart and see community as a verb, not just a noun, Nick and Linda Castle wanted to create a great, warm and friendly place for us, the local community to visit. A place to meet new and old friends, create a place to build a better community cohesion and reduce loneliness. Cielo has grown as a social enterprise in more ways than one, not only expanded in premises but also roasting their own beans to give us the best speciality coffee that’s ethically sourced, roasted to order and the profits given away – and it is the best, my own coffee pot makes much better sounds when it’s got Garforth ground coffee in it
Cielo supports local people and offer local jobs both paid and volunteer positions. They work worth local people who are working in poorer parts of the world and profits are given to help this project as well, as every year, money being donated to our very own local projects in and around Garforth.
So next time you’re in having a coffee, think of how much support your giving as well as enjoying your time right here in Garforth.
