What do you mean you’ve not been?  I bet you’ve passed it lots of times and wondered what they sell, would you like it, is it too expensive? – If these are the reasons why you still haven’t been in, then you’re truly missing out unless you’re one of those people who queue out of the door on a Saturday morning for their Croissants and Pain au chocolat!…

This is one of my favourite shops in Garforth for several reasons.  Passion, Chocolate, Bread, Sandwiches, Cakes, Uniqueness, Friendly staff and the fact it’s a little slice of heaven right here in our town.

Yes, you will pay more for one of Thierry’s cakes but they’re all hand made, they’re all thought out, passion and lots of man hours goes into the tiniest detail of everything he makes, you also have Rebecca who gives you more than just fabulous customer service, but really understands what you need and helps with what you want, Rebecca knows more about patisserie, boulangerie and chocolate then anyone I know.  If you want the best, we’ve got it… it’s here on our doorstep

Have you ever thought of sending chocolates or a breakfast hamper as a gift… they can do it

They even run cookery schools

If you want a job, they’ve got one too

A little bit of history…
The boulangerie, patisserie and chocolaterie was established in 1998. We pride ourselves on our expertise as bakers and chocolatiers and have become known across Yorkshire for our delicious range of pastries, cakes, breads and chocolate. Thierry Dumouchel trained at the renowned food college in Rouen, France, and has worked in Paris, London, Sydney and Tokyo before opening the patisserie. As a master of his craft Thierry is often called upon,  as UK ambassador for Barry Callebaut and the world-renowned Cointreau, to provide demonstrations. Thierry also works as a consultant offering advice and guidance to individuals and businesses around the UK.

In 2012  we were extremely proud to have won The Baking Industry  “Craft Business Award”. 2012 also saw us launch our online artisan bread. The freshly baked bread is delivered by courier, lightly baked, bagged and ready to freeze straight to your door. Simply defrost, finish in your own oven and enjoy!
