Hello Garforth how has it all been going?  I came back on Tuesday to lovely weather and now look at it…. I feel we’re still waiting for summer.  What happened to the one’s in the 70’s we used to get, I’m sure when the school gate closed the sun came out for 6 weeks!

I’ve had a few enquiries whilst I’ve been away, and Looking at adding another couple of businesses to the fold… watch this space in September, there is also a few other things changing with current businesses too… sounds all exciting

Did you notice our new business Kandy Land Karts and Sweet Buffets came on just before I went away?  A great little business from home in Garforth.  They do some great things for parties and not just sweets for kids, adults will love them too.  Great for hiring for any party especially a wedding. Take a look

WORD ON THE STREET

On a sad note
A poor family has lost everything in a tragic fire above Lloyds Chemist on Fairburn Drive which happened on Tuesday morning, luckily they were rescued and are well.  The young lady is pregnant and also has a little girl, so if you can donate anything, Chris at Chris’ Fruit and Veg shop has a collection box and if you get in touch with Globe Not for Profit on Facebook, they are also helping with anything they can to find household items to replace the ones that were lost in the fire. Of course the family need to find a new place yet, but when they do, it means they maybe able to put some things in it and make it a home.

Wetherspoons is still in PLanning and pending consideration, if you wanted a nosey, here is another chance to see their plans
