Wow, is the only word you can say when entering Augustus Court, you could be a million miles away in this 5* care home, which is like no other care home you will have been to or have a perception about. There is nothing clinical about the home at all, only comfort, luxury and a sense of calm, it has a fabulous 24 hour care system in place for all residents, the layout is well thought out with areas for residents to have full independents should they wish. Not only have the designers produced this wonderful opulent place you would feel comfortable leaving your family to live, but the design team have clearly worked with the care team extremely well in order all the needs will be met for elderly residents. From the short corridors to rooms, with a great choice of spaces with different functions such as, The Nook a day room where you could have a read, write a letter or do a puzzle to an evening change, into a cinema room, a beauty salon where you could use with your family member or wait for the beautician and hairdresser to come in, one of the day rooms looks over the allotments at the back so it’s a great place to relax and see what’s going on, The beautiful restaurant is upstairs with access by lift which means residents can enjoy eating times relaxed without the passing of people from reception downstairs.

I just need to a get a few more members on board and them I’m moving in…. well I like to be the first to do unique things; I’ll be the first 41 year old to move into a care home!
