I’m so looking forward to releasing my new Logo online next week, but for all you lovely followers of the blog, here they are.
I have been working with Chloe and Abigail of www.buttercrumble.com our local designers and illustrators, who have designed this fun new logo, I think they have really captured me and The Main Deal very well. I’m looking forward to stamping The Main Deal over town more this year; look out for the face

Sunday 20th May it’s national Pick Strawberries Day – sadly Brecks Farm no longer offer Strawberry picking anymore,. Please note The Station House will be closed next Bank Holiday weekend, therefore they are taking evening bookings for the bistro next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

- A few people have put in objections again the new proposed bar being put on Chapel Close, but another fair few people have also put in supportive comments too, which might I add, so have I and this is my reason
The Main Deal in Garforth has helped grow and support local businesses since 2014, and it encouraged the community to look local first. Garforth needs to add and improve it’s night time offering, and by having an upmarket bar with food will only add to this much needed night time vibe. Keeping people local and using local helps give Garforth a sustainable future and the times it is open and the clientele it will bring will have NO impact on any other activities going on around it. We also like to encourage more independent businesses into the town. Having a balance is important and by adding this new venture, we start to set the balance back again. in my research I see, the applicant already runs a very successful business in another town which is proven to help bring local people together and eat locally which is very important for any town, as it encourages people to also use the other businesses, as it gives them another reasons to come in. We need a sustainable future for our families and younger generation. If planning allowed a huge Weatherspoons to be built that is next to a residential area with no parking facilities then this small bar requirement should be considered whole heartily.
