- Sunday 9th December from 6.30pm – Firthfields Community Centre hold Community Christmas Carol Concert with Garforth Jubilee Brass Band – Garforth Jubilee Brass Band play your favourite Christmas Carols (with some audience participation and singing), along with a few other tunes. Tickets are a reasonable £1 on the door and refreshments will be available
- Thursday 13th December from 8.30pm – Luke Flear will be playing at The New Inn in Barwick

Coming to Garforth is a Pilates and Barre studio opening up on Main Street with Claire Wray and a new Beauticians will be taking over the old Te-Amo premises on Fairburn Drive, hoping third time lucky for this beauticians, they will have to be really good in a very strong hair and beauty market we have here in Garforth
