Meetings galore this week, with lots of existing and new members, also a lot of new enquiries this week too.  We do get about.

What’s on?

• Tuesday 12th February 9.30-11.30am – Cara E Café with Nic Baker from Independnet Stampin Up at The Station House Café Please join me for one of my sessions at The Station House. Drop in and make a handmade Carta (card) and have a hot bere (drink) either as you craft or before / after – it’s your choice!This is a leisurely and social session where you can drop in anytime between 9.30 and 11 am to make your card. All materials to complete your card along with any guidance / support will be provided. Hot drinks can be ordered from the cafe. It will take around half an hour to complete your card so please allow enough time. Why not bring a friend and craft as you chat? The cost of this session is £5, if ordering your drink before you make your card please let the staff know you are here for the carta and bere session; I will collect any monies and settle up with the Cafe once the session is over – send Nic an email nicannbaker@gmail.com

 

• Tuesday 12th February – 6.30pm Zumba with Charlotte Martin at St Benedict’s  Church Hall – New classes just started last week, so if you didn’t get chance last week, give it a go this week

 

• Thursday 14th February from 7.30pm At The Gaping Goose- Weekly Spiritual Development Circle with Sue Carrol our local Psychic medium – everyone welcome

• Friday 15th February 11.45am – Baby and Toddler signing with Flutterbabies at Monkey Maze – look to signing on to these local classes with Sam and the Team www.flutterbabies.co.uk

 

• Friday 15th February 9.00- 5.00pm  – Emergency First Aid Course at Work, Garforth Working Mens Club with Tony Clough our fab local first aid trainer – book on to this great 1 day course  This 1-day course covers Emergency Life-Saving First Aid that can make a real difference whilst waiting for an ambulance. I read  Garforth Train Station Car park had a little disruption this week?  Probably prepping for the extension ahead of April  

A real shame to hear that Hot Heatz and Kool Treatz is up for sale – a quick sale for £25,000.  real sad when a  businesses doesn’t work out as the owner is a really lovely guy and we’ve always had really nice food from there.

Right,  a busy weekend ahead,  a parent roadie  tonight, and of course a proud parent,  #thomboy has a two paid gigs with Sticks and Stones this weekend, one in Headingly at the Three Horse Shoes; i’m sure they will go down a storm with the local students. on Saturday, they have been invited back to Barnbow Social Club in  Crossgates, to support a well known band, Big Mouth.  It’s all fun and games, and much better than any Saturday job when I was 13!
