Well done, you did it, a higher percentage of people stayed in over April. Over the past 24 hours, we’ve seen a few rumours on social media, since BoJo said, ‘we’re over the peak’ which to me doesn’t really mean much to be honest, certainly not to open any lockdown door wide. Yes, we need to get businesses back, however, we need to do so, when it’s right and the lockdown door needs to open like someone has knocked on your front door and you’ve kept the chain on! Let’s not hurry, we need to learn baby steps all over again.
Overall, how has your week been? The weather has been a bit rubbish, hasn’t it? But we have seen it benefit the flowers and farmers, they certainly needed it. However, the sun is set to shine through clouds from tomorrow, with a chance of 15 degrees, so fingers crossed we can sit somewhere with warm air on our faces rather than hail, which descended upon us yesterday!
This week has been yet another juggling week, Hubster has been pretty busy in the office and as I can do a lot of my work on my Ipad anywhere, but try and jump back in my office when he’s on a break or having a switch off; we all need this.
I’m also learning a lot about homeschooling and how rubbish I would be as a teacher! Patience isn’t something I find easy, definitely one of my weaknesses. I like things done now and now does not happen with homeschooling. We’ve had amazing procrastination moments, even choosing cleaning kitchen cupboards rather than sitting down to do maths! So thank you, Teachers, for being so patient with 30 children, I think I would become an alcoholic if I was a teacher!
