What a week it’s been, more coughs, sneezes and colds (not Covid) going round, which is standard at this time of the year, and more people getting tests to make sure it isn’t! We’ve also seen information released this week that one of our dance colleges had 78 cases! Also down to these type of things happening, such as large numbers in a small area being infected, it will now mean the Government will put in even more measures or changes for businesses! I sometimes feel like I want to go round with a mega phone (or is that not what its called?) and shout from my car as I go round the town shouting ‘ JUST STEP AWAY, WEAR A MASK, WASH YOUR HANDS’ otherwise you’re going to cause more problems for yourself! But do you honestly think this would help? My message to all our Eateries and drinking establishments this weeks shouts about a possible Plan B option, should they have to close or diversify again. An option and choice is better than a blank chalk board.

FACEBOOK BLOCK – really?
Having fun today as Facebook decided to fail posting any posts I want to share from other businesses. It also appears this type of block is highly likely, down to a report from someone accusing me of spamming, yes, that’s gone down well in my office this morning! If this is the case I will be extremely annoyed and saddened by yet again, people. If you don’t like what I post, don’t follow us! Or check our website. In fact, give me a call or a message and chat it through, I am a very open person and like to chat. I’m hoping that it’s sorted asap, because what they don’t realise is, by not letting me share, then others also don’t get to see what businesses are posting either! #eyestotheceiling
Positivity – Art in Garforth
Finally, we saw this week Penny Rowe from Penny’s Community Arts and Angela, from Raspberry Thief, two of our fabulous local artists get creative, when they could finally get their brushes out and start their first wall art project. With many T’s crossed and I’s dotted, they got creative on Emsley’s Solicitors wall.
