If you’re not listening to Jamie Callum’s album, The Piano man at Christmas then, who even are you? Last year I listened to his album, and if, like me, you like a bit of Jazz; not quite out of sync beats that sound like everyone is rehearsing, type Jazz, but a great voice with meaning, that gets the hairs on the back of your neck standing on edge, then this is the Christmas Album for you…. I’m quite happy to say, I think he’ll push Buble off the top spot of Christmas albums, and no, I’m not in a paid partnership deal; if only! There are some fabulous tunes on this album, you may see me out walking, dancing about (not quite like a raver) with my dog, wearing big headphones (not the dog) give me a wave, or a shimmy!…. you’re welcome.
It’s been a fun week of celebrating 16th Birthday’s, ‘nearly’ broken toes and MOT’s – My eldest Thomboy was 16, he can do loads now, he can now take 2 paracetamol (if and when in pain) and, he could join the armed forces; this is never going to happen!!!! My youngest ThomBoy has no fear, but lack of fear usually turns into accidents, so we had a lovely morning at Pontefract hospital checking out the scooter incident, an injury he has given himself. Luckily, he hobbled out with just a sprained, bruised, and very swollen big toe. I walked out thinking, thank God, Mary, Joseph, and all the wee donkeys… #eyestotheceiling #boyswillbeboys
MOT – We have always had all our cars looked after by, H T Autos down Lotherton Approach. Matt is great and very helpful, he’s great at chatting things through, making you feel comfortable, and not intimidated by mechanical issues, or talking about things that need doing. Luckily for us, today was a day of nice phone calls to say it had passed its MOT – beauty

Change of use to a Dog Grooming Salon – God only knows we need this, as coronavirus brought a year of many dogs and sadly, lots of grooming places shut, so let’s hope this gets through planning
Every Friday we have a TOF (TakeOut Friday) unless we’re going out, then we’re having a GOF. What do you choose? Do you know a few of our restaurants do takeouts too, so check first before you order the obvious kebab?
