Itinerary for the day/night – What you need to know
- 11.00 am – 8.00 pm Garforth Christmas Market
- 3.30 pm Road Closure Town End to BarleyHill Road, buses will also be diverted, the main street car park will be closed, emergency access only once road closure is in place
- 4.00 pm Festive farm & pizza box company UP AT Pease car park
- 4.30 pm Food stalls on Main street
- 5.15 pm DJ Harry starts off the show on stage
- 6.00 pm Santa’s parade
- 7.00 pm Lights switched on & fireworks
- 8.30 pm Read Closure lifted

Reusable/ washable Sanitary wear – WHAT!! I hear some of you scream, at your screen! As mentioned on the Blog/Vlog last week, I was going to give them a try. I was truly over thinking the whole thing and I’m glad to say I’m a complete convert, and I won’t be going back to using plastic Sanitary Towels again. There’s nothing gross about it, so, if your face is twisted, put it back in the draw. What is gross, is the plastic ones are not compostable or biodegradable and that it takes approximately 500 years to disappear! Imagine digging a hole and burying a handful of plastic bags, this is the equivalent. They’re actually not great to wear either on ya little nunny! If you have young girls about to start their periods, think about what you’re giving them, they will never know any different if you give them reusable/washable alternatives!
