Caboose – Thanks to Leeds-Live, many Garfonians thought Caboose was still happening here in Garforth, opening this year they say. However, I’m afraid to say, they’re out of date by about 3 years! Caboose is not happening as they have written in their ‘new opening article 2022’. I have been in contact with Leeds-List to ask them who their resource was, I’m still waiting to hear.

Flatten my Roof
This year hasn’t gone without hitch for us or any of my friends and family. Especially with all the wind, we have had over the last week. We found our Gazebo over in the neighbours garden early hours Saturday morning, which we had to collect at 5.40 am in order it didn’t create any damage, luckily it hadn’t. CLO Marquee also had some damage, twice which is closed off this section at the back, for now; mother nature can be a bugger. At home, our roof has caused no end of bother, and for months and months, we have been scratching our heads to find the issue. After much investigation (the insurance company not helping) we have finally found the problem. The original builder who built our extension hadn’t built the flat roof properly, he basically cased it in with no ventilation, so for 11 years, our roof has been sweating.. what joy! Luckily we have found a local company who seems to be a really good flat roof specialist, The Family Roofing Company over in Kippax who can help us sort and fix this almighty problem – Fingers crossed!

As mentioned in this week’s Vlog https://www.instagram.com/tv/CZeWShMrK3W/ and social media posts, an application for another takeout has been proposed for no. 147 Main Street, which is where the BIG ORANGE SIGN ‘corner shop’ currently resides. Many people have been rejected for many reasons. Two being obvious. Traffic problems for both collection and delivery and the second, because we have enough services offering takeout options.
