We took a half-term getaway to the Cotswolds, and it was as enchanting as ever! This isn’t our first visit, and it certainly won’t be our last to this picturesque area. The charming houses, quaint villages, and vibrant independent high streets make it a place I can’t help but envy… I get so green – even before Halloween.
One of the highlights this time was finally visiting Diddly Squat Farm. If you haven’t watched Clarkson’s Farm, you might be wondering what the fuss is all about. But whether you’re a Jeremy Clarkson fan or not, the platform he’s built shines a light on something much larger: British farming and how important it is to look after local and British produce

The Diddly Squat Farm Shop and The Farmer’s Dog Pub struck a chord with me. Who would’ve thought Clarkson and I would be singing from the same hymn sheet? The Farmer’s Dog focuses exclusively on locally and British-sourced food and drink, which means no coffee, tea, or Pepsi. Did I miss it? Not one bit! The ciders were delicious, the soft drinks were refreshing, and the food? Well, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

None of the team was available for a selfie.. with me, but hey ho, we did create a few edits of Jezza and Gerald with us! Due to copyright, we can’t show you – we’ve been there before!
We also explored the charming town of Moreton-in-Marsh, which is just one of the villages I love. I love visiting the Cotswolds Cheese Company and the cosy little cafés that make it a point to use only local produce. It goes to show that you don’t need a massive platform or earn millions ⬆️ to champion local sourcing—it’s entirely possible with heart and dedication. See
